Global Village
Publishing
Client: Best Destinations Egypt, an advertorial book published by Global Village Publishing.
Objective: Directing a team of designers and photographers throughout the process of creating an elegant and cohesive visual layout for a high-end book showcasing the major luxury destinations and tourist spots in Egypt.
Design Concept
As an art director, my tasks included the following:
Page Layout Style Guides: Develop comprehensive style guides and page templates to be used by the design team, ensuring visual consistency and a high standard of design throughout the book.
Photography: Contributed photography for several clients featured in the book, capturing the beauty and essence of Egypt's top destinations.
Supervision and Coordination: Oversaw the in-house design team, and coordinated with freelance designers and photographers as needed to maintain the project's creative vision.
Production Coordination: Worked closely with the production manager, overseeing the printing process and conducting quality checks to ensure the final product met the highest standards.
The project resulted in a beautifully designed advertorial book following the publication guidelines. The book effectively highlights Egypt's premier destinations, combining visual consistency, high-quality photography, and meticulous production standards to create an engaging and visually stunning publication.
